Dr. Anakwenze acknowledges that agriculture is key to sustainable growth and development and food security in Nigeria . Any nation that cannot feed its people can never develop.
- As President, I will revive and revitalize the agricultural sector as source of food for the teeming population of Nigerians; as major export and foreign exchange earner; and the primary source of industrial raw materials.
- I will restore, finance and reinvigorate the production of key agricultural products in the country such as groundnuts, rice, maize, millet and tubers in the North; cocoa and timber in the West of River Niger; and rice palm produce in the East.
- All agricultural products would undergo value added treatments to improve their quality; expand outputs and markets; boost export earnings; and create rural and youth employment. The era of exporting unprocessed primary agricultural products is gone.
- I will revamp the fisheries industry by developing the numerous waterways in the country
